New York, NY; December 2018: Ica & Kostika, a revolutionary luxury footwear brand, launches their first collection Exobiology, an exploration of the future of life and fashion in the universe.
Structured, highly intricate shoes with striking silhouettes are the specialty of Ica & Kostika. Each shoe is carefully constructed to comfortably fit the natural form of the foot.
The Mycelium shoes are inspired by the radial growth of the mycelial branching from mushrooms. There are three variations: a wedge, a heel, and an extreme heelless style.
The Coral shoes utilize the branching of a sea fan to cover a large surface area while remaining lightweight. The coral shoes have three variations of wedges changing their branching structure.
The Seahorse shoes borrow the same beautiful skeletal structure of a seahorse with segments gradually changing scale. The Seahorse shoes have a wide range of materials and hand-painted finishes, each with their own unique geometric form.
The Spine shoes manipulate the vertebrae of the spine to create a continuous form along the foot. The spine shoes are available in three finishes: silver, white and black chrome. Additional finishes may be available upon request.
