Chloé Introduces Chloé Radio

A podcast series debuting September 20th

“To all women, I always say, you must dare.” -- Gaby Aghion, founder of Chloé, in 1952. Gaby Aghion founded Chloé with a mission to give women freedom to dare to be themselves .

The Chloé Radio podcast evokes these words by inviting women who inspire Chloé to share their views, whether personal insights or towards the wider world. The first series of this ongoing program will begin in Paris, with six initial episodes timed to Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s SS19 collection. Hosted by journalist Augustin Trapenard, the sessions are being recorded at the Maison de la Radio, a landmark of French radio culture, where the runway shows now take place.

Guests for the Paris edition are Clémence Poésy, Houda Benyamina, Ariane Labed, Isabelle Huppert, Leila Slimani, and Natacha Ramsay-Levi. In each 20-minute interview, the questions span from life-changing experiences to the meaning of femininity today. Themes of confidence, freedom, seduction, elegance and self-expression are addressed with candour, lightness and vulnerability. At ease expressing their unique sense of self, these six French women bridge multiple generations of Chloé girls.

As a channel for thoughtful discussion, the Chloé Radio podcasts underscore Chloé’s values of free-spirited femininity, modernity and inner strength. Chloé Radio comes across as an authentic editorial voice, exploring in a vibrant, relaxed manner the endless possibilities of what it means to be a woman in the world today. As each episode concludes, the takeaway attests to the approach voiced by Natacha Ramsay-Levi for her first Chloé collection: “I would like to dress women so that they can express their inner strength, not their power.”

On Chloé Radio, listeners will hear an echo back to Gaby Aghion, who founded Chloé with a mission to give women the freedom to dare to be themselves. The interviews will air from September 20th until the show, each revealed one-by-one as episodes on both the Podcast app and as a video on IGVT. Subscribe now. See more on IGTV.
