One day in July, I finally decided to visit the famous Desert X located in Palm Springs. It's a site-specific, contemporary art exhibition that was built in the Coachella Valley from February 25 - April 30th 2017. It was formed by Desert Biennial, a 501 charitable organization founded in 2015.
Not very smart to visit in summer I have to admit! It was super hot that I could feel the heat attacking my whole body almost couldn't breathe. But my friends Giann and Frank and I got through it just for taking photos we want and we made it!
I styled two looks in the desert. First look I wore this Zara trendy Gingham bell sleeves romper(that's right it's a romper, not dress so I can easily do whatever poses I want without showing my V lol) with a light brown fedora hat that I borrowed from Giann. I styled a Topshop gold drop collar necklace with this look to give it a hint of editorial feeling. The highlight accessory is absolutely the Zara 3D flower decorated mini bag. The flower is the perfect contrast to the desert. Out of nothing, in the whole boundless desert, the flower is the only life. It's the one and the only hope and it's stunning. Life should be like this, isn't it?
For the second look, I decided to offer a stronger contrast, so I styled a Brandy Melville red satin crop top with a pair of Zara crane printed cropped pants. The bright red and the lively crane prints drew a painting of the desert queen!
