2017 Summer Lookbook by Yarina
1. The White Dream
This summer, the color white, actually ivory is the significant trend. It's super feminine. If you are thinking to go for a vacation in the coastal city, the ivory dress is definitely one of the perfect choices. Or not necessarily a port city, can also just be at a lovely hotel/Airbnb with a pool.

2 The Striped Vacation
Fashion is always a cycle of Samsara. The trends come and go. The Stripes trend started to get popular from the Chanel designer Coco Chanel. She made the simple stripes pattern look very chic. This year, 2017 summer, the trend is coming back. It becomes more playful and graphic design kind of strong visual effect.

3 The Future Athlete
Sporty trend is coming back to 2017, too. It evolves from streetwear style to more futuristic vibe. PVC and reflective textile are enhancing the Si-Fi style. I styled a matte raincoat with a pink reflective skirt to create a new athlete fresh style.

Deconstructed designs are one of my all time favorite trends. With Vetements-inspired deconstructed designs giving the smart style an unexpected twist. Usually, designers destroy the regular clothes then redesign and sew it to create a new piece. This was the original way to deconstruct garments. Now, more and more designers just design the clothes directly.
Dress and shoes: Zara

5 The Playful Words
After Dior's Spring 2017 fashion show, "WE SHOULD ALL BE FEMINIST" tee started the slogan t-shirt trend. The slogan tee is not just a normal nerdy t-shirt, it's an attitude and lifestyle. You can style the tee with any pieces. I styled a black and white slogan tee with a check skirt. The fishnet socks with pearls brings the look punk and elegant.
Tee, skirt and loafers: Zara
